Sloan bags branding

Sloan bags is a new small business in the Riverland, specialising in handmade cork and waxed canvas bags. To kickstart this new business, the client wanted a brand identity. The brief was to create a logo that was inspired by the family’s wine grape growing history and to include both green and brown in the brand colours. However, the client was concerned that grape imagery would appear ‘Churchy’. The direction of the final logo is an illustrated grape leaf, a mix of rounded and handwritten fonts were also used to help with the handmade feel.
